Noah Taylor, MD
Radiation Oncologist
Radiation Oncologist, Noah Taylor, M.D. joined the Austin Center for Radiation Oncology after implementing similar IMRT/IGRT technology in Connecticut and New York. Dr. Taylor was actively involved in the initial planning and development of this sophisticated technology at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center starting over 10 years ago and has published numerous peer reviewed articles on IMRT/IGRT for breast, prostate, head and neck, lung, and other cancers. He also was a valuable member of the research team at M.D. Anderson that developed one of the first CT-Scan imaging guidance systems for localized radiation, a system which evolved into what is utilized today. Dr. Taylor has treated over 2000 patients with IMRT/IGRT including developing the first breast IMRT program in Connecticut before relocating to the Austin Texas area.
Dr. Taylor is originally from Miami, Florida and completed his undergraduate studies at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. He attended medical school at the University of Miami in Miami, Florida, and completed his residency in radiation oncology at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.
After six years in Connecticut and New York, Dr. Taylor returns to Texas to bring M.D. Anderson-style treatment here to the Greater Austin area.
Our Radiation Staff
In addition to the Radiation Oncologist, ACRO is staffed by a group of accredited medical professionals. Among them are the Dosimetrist, Regan Nantz, and Physicist, Brian Ward, both highly skilled professionals who commission and maintain the sophisticated radiation therapy equipment and treatment planning software, and assist the Radiation Oncologist in developing a unique radiation plan for each patient.
Your treatment will be delivered by therapists Shanti Hall and Libby Galle, and assistant Lamar Garcia, all highly experienced but also recently trained in the latest technology available in radiation treatment, with daily on-site supervision by the physician.
Vicki Tiffin, our Facility Director, is a valuable resource who can answer questions regarding billing, finance, policies and procedures, scheduling and anything else to ensure your treatment is as smooth as possible.
Additional billing professionals, medical assistants and front office staff will assist you with all aspects of the treatment process to make your experience at our radiation center as positive and seamless as possible.
